On March 6, a working meeting took place between Oleksandr Dihtiar (Head of the Presidium of the NGO “Assembly of Disabled Persons of Cherkasy Region”, and the director of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Fifth Cherkasy City Primary Healthcare Center” Mykola Tarasov within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum dated January 7, 2025, between the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Fifth Primary Healthcare Center” and charitable entities.

Through our joint efforts to restore the operation of the Rehabilitation Balneotherapy Center and the pool in particular, as of March 7, 2025, over 2 months, the following has been accomplished:
regarding organizational matters:
- A Coordinating Council has been formed with the participation of representatives of non-governmental organizations, charitable foundations, benefactors, local authorities, and veteran organizations
The Council is actively working on the implementation of the “TITANS” Project to restore and renovate the rehabilitation balneotherapy center
- A working Estimate for the major renovation of the balneotherapy center has been drawn up
- A list of necessary equipment has been compiled and a corresponding grant application has been submitted to the Embassy of Japan under the program “Kusanone”
- An informational WEBSITE has been created to promote/advance the PROJECT Rehabilitation Balneotherapy Center “Titans” and to collect DONATIONS according to designated programs, including for Renovation, Purchase of equipment and furniture, Training of specialists, Development of rehabilitation programs, and the implementation of Innovative technologies
- A Banner and Flyers for our PROJECT have been designed and printed!
regarding renovation works:
Together with the enterprise’s workers and our activists, the following has been completed:
- Dismantling of drywall in the pool area
- Dismantling of the metal frame under the drywall
- Inspection of lumber in the area under the pool.
- Inspection of the water heater for heating the pool water, checking of the electrical components, air bleeding of the system, checking of connection contacts, voltage measurement on the water heating sensor
- Inspection of aggregates and units in the pool.
- Dismantling and installation of a new window in the pool area
- Dismantled water tanks from the old pool.
- Cleaning of the pool premises from construction debris and other rubbish
