The “Titans” Recovery: Step by step towards a modern rehabilitation center in Cherkasy

Dear Ukrainians!

For over four years, our state has heroically resisted the aggressor, defending its right to life and freedom. In this difficult time, the full physical recovery of our defenders, veterans, and civilian population becomes one of the highest priorities of public health.

The Non-Governmental Organization “Titans Foundation” sees its main mission in creating a modern balneotherapy rehabilitation center — an inclusive space accessible to veterans, people with disabilities, and everyone in need of recovery, including children, who are our future.

Partnerships that deliver results

For a year and a half, we have been fruitfully cooperating with the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Fifth Cherkasy City Primary Healthcare Center,” on the basis of which our flagship project is being deployed. Over this time, a long path has been traversed (detailed information is available in the “Reports” section on our website), but the main stages are still ahead.

We are proud that, thanks to our joint hard work, targeted funds have been allocated from the local budget for 2026 for renovation works and the equipping of the rehabilitation complex. Currently, the design work for the major repair of the pool basin and technical rooms is in its final stages.

Taking action today

We do not stop for a single day:

• Since April 1, 2026, the NGO “Titans Foundation” has successfully extended the lease of the locker rooms and shower facilities.
• Since June 1, 2026, thanks to the invaluable support of our benefactor partners, we have begun the active phase of renovating these premises. Wall preparation and tiling are already underway, after which the installation of modern sanitary equipment will begin.
• Every weekend (specifically on June 7, 14, and 20), activists of our Foundation hold volunteer clean-ups, manually helping to clear and prepare the premises for construction work (photo reports are attached below).
